Located in Kuujjuaq, the Tulattavik Hospital is the largest in Nunavik. The project consists of an expansion of nearly 500 m2 including a new garage for four ambulances, archive rooms, mechanical rooms and warehouses. Some interventions to the existing building were also carried out.

The foundations of the expansion are made of reinforced concrete, and the structure is made of timber, including roof trusses with spans of more than 10 meters.

For this major project for the benefit of the Inuit community of Nunavik, NCK provided comprehensive engineering consulting services in structure and civil infrastructure.
