The mandate involved restoring and refurbishing the two buildings at 35-37 avenue Montaigne in Paris, which at that time, and until 2017, housed the Canadian Embassy.

This mandate, undertaken in the exceptional architectural setting of this prestigious district of Paris, was a major challenge for the structural engineers who had to carry out their mandate in compliance with many constraints and requirements. Literally hundreds of details had to be designed to adapt the existing structural systems to modern requirements. Strict measures also had to be taken to protect the adjacent buildings, which had to remain functional throughout the work.

For this project, NCK was contracted to provide complete structural engineering consulting services.
