In a context of growing activities at the Montreal International Airport, the elevated walkway plays an essential role in welcoming passengers and the people accompanying them. It originates from the early 1950s and was extended around 1993. Since then, NCK has participated in numerous structural rehabilitation campaigns of this essential access to the airport’s customer reception operations.

The interventions mainly involved the concrete and steel structure. Work was carefully coordinated with the airport stakeholders to ensure that operations can continue.

For these rehabilitation interventions, NCK provided complete structural engineering consulting services.
