This project included both a 37,000 m² expansion and a major renovation of the plant in Sainte-Thérèse. The project was completed in 14 months using the “fast track” method. Half of the building has a standard foundation, and the other half has a pile foundation. The roof has several different levels, which required detailed studies in terms of snow loads. To make the best use of the space, trusses with a span of 41 m were used and the bracing had to be studied at length so as not to encumber the production areas.

For this project, NCK provided complete structural engineering consulting services.
