A 19-storey office tower and two underground parking lots were added to the existing Québecor building located on the edge of the Square-Victoria. The existing part and the new tower are connected by a common lobby. This reinforced concrete building with an eccentric core is built on caissons. The project also included the rehabilitation of the existing building.

Exceptionally complex planning and execution were required as a result of the spatial and functional constraints, the site’s confinement by adjacent urban buildings, the fact that the existing building had to remain operational during the work and a very tight schedule.

NCK provided the complete structural engineering consulting services for this project.
