The Terra residential complex is a development project of six mixed-use buildings (residential and commercial) that are built around the central park located at 3410 Boulevard Le Carrefour in Laval.

The intentions of this project are consistent with the urban context and sensitive to issues related to sustainable development. The architectural reading of the project translates into podiums on a pedestrian scale, and whose volumetry has been worked as an extension of the park and green spaces. The green roofs of these volumes rise from the ground and come to create the commercial built front on the scale of the Boulevard. The choice of a simple volumetry, working on the association of curves and straight lines, makes it possible to punctuate the architecture according to the orientations.

The client, Groupe Saroukian, commissioned NCK in 2017 for all structural services, from design to monitoring for the first tower (Tower 1), being a 22-storey concrete senior’s residence. The mandate continued in the design and construction of Tower 2 facing Tower 1 and having the same vocation as the latter.
