Given the need for a new aircraft control tower, this project involved the design of a new distinctive control tower for the airport, the architectural signature of which is a precast concrete-clad tower crowned by a three-storey bay window cabin. The height of the tower is 52 metres from the tarmac.

The structure of the control tower is made of reinforced concrete, and the foundations rest on piles.

For this major project at the Montreal airport, NCK provided all structural engineering consulting services.
