Mr. Severyn joined NCK in May 2011 as an intern and has since risen through the ranks to become a senior engineer. In 2016, he left the firm but continued to work on several ongoing contracts with NCK. In 2023, he rejoined NCK full-time as head of the civil engineering consulting division, while continuing to apply his structural engineering expertise. This dual skill set is undeniably beneficial to clients who require both types of services. In 2025, he was appointed director of the civil engineering division.
